Youth Makers 2024
Woolworths held a competition for South African entrepreneurs under 30 years old to be selected for business mentorship, tailored training, and other opportunities. Out of thousands of entries, we narrowed it down to 15 incredible winners. These are their stories.

Winners' Photoshoot
The photo shoot was mostly done in black and white to match our approved look & feel. However, the winner's products were shot in full colour, so people get a proper idea of what their businesses are all about.

Winner Introductions on Social Media
We then used the black & white photographs of the winners with a colour shot of the product followed straight after, to introduce a new winner every day

Every winner had their own page on the Woolworths website, where people could learn more about the winner's journey, their products, and their visions for the future

We were given Woolworth's instore magazine cover to draw attention to the winners among Woolies staff

Market Days

At the end of the campaign, the winners went on a roadshow all around the country to promote their businesses and products to Woolworths customers.
