Rebranding from twisp to vuse
The Twisp E-cigarette brand was recently purchased by the international Vaping brand, Vuse.
I had the opportunity to rebrand the Twisp brand as part of the VML Johannesburg team,
The most important aspect of the Vuse brand is its incredible range of flavours. We wanted to create icons that highlight this wide range, whilst making it easy for first time user to access and discern from each other. We decided to create origami shapes to represent each flavour.
These distinctive origami shapes were also applied to the packaging.
We used these shapes as holding devices for the flavour names and combined them with a background made up of "visual shards" that helps to further inform the viewer about what flavour it is.
Flavour-based PRINT & ONLINE
Our task was to create a generic look that "celebrates the vast array of flavours" available from the Vuse brand in one, single image.
We used the website to slowly introduce Twisp users to the new products and look over a 1-month period.
For social media we shifted the focus back onto highlighting the vast array of flavours available from Vuse. We created a visual grid for Instagram that connects all the flavours available into one, unified image.
We also created a variety of videos for Facebook & Twitter that focusses on showcasing the variety of different Vuse flavours.
