Engen’s QuickShop wanted to increase their consumer’s basket size over the Summer period.

By reminding consumers of specific occasions around summer, we encouraged them to purchase everything they need, all in one convenient place, to get the event started. 


This was Engen’s most successful retail campaign of all time. In the 2 months that the national campaign ran, Engen had 1 575 082 entries and 3 375 193 bundle deals were sold. Increase in entries compared to the previous Summer Campaign were 942 % Up from 17 347 entries per week to 180 747 entries per week.

Media drove users to the microsite. They where asked to choose how they are going to get their summer started (braai, party, girls’s night etc.).   They then connect with their facebook accounts and choose their ultimate summer crew from their friends list. Lastly they fil in a registration form and stand a chance to win the ultimate Summer experience for them and their friends.
